My name is Ecaterina from AmoreMio wedding planners, and I have been living in Spain for many years — happily becoming this magical bridge for couples from all over the world. What is the average wedding budget in Spain?
There is no universal answer, but I’ll share a guideline:
€20,000 is the average budget foreign couples invest in their celebration.
This doesn’t mean you cannot do it for less — or more. It depends on guest count, venue, style, and your personal priorities.
Why have your dream wedding in Southern Spain?
The south — Malaga, Marbella, Nerja, La Herradura, Benalmádena — is one of the most developed wedding destinations in the country. Here, you will find suppliers for every budget and style.
Examples of what your wedding can look like:
- A Tuscan-style hotel with accommodation for your loved ones
- A traditional 18th-century Spanish hacienda
- A restaurant by the sea

When is the best time to get married in Spain?
Although the south enjoys around 360 sunny days a year, the best wedding months in practice are May–June and September–October.
You can get married here anytime — but these months offer the perfect balance of sun, temperature, and comfort.
