Traditional and bespoke vow renewal ceremonies in Spain
Perhaps you never had the wedding you really wanted, you are reaching a milestone anniversary, you feel the need to reconnect with each other, or perhaps you simply want to reaffirm the promises you made to each other on your original wedding day.
Private and away from the gaze of others, or witnessed, supported and surrounded by people who love you, however big or small your vow renewal ceremony will be, together we can find the words to say exactly what you want to express in a beautiful, romantic and totally personalised affirmation of vows based on your own ideas of the perfect celebration.

I offer an alternative to a church or religious blessing – sometimes called non-denominational, secular, spiritual or humanist (with a little “h”) – a perfectly crafted marriage blessing to fulfil every detail of your ideal ceremony.

Perhaps you want something more than words alone, you also want to include traditions that are important to you and rituals that resonate with you.
I can introduce visual elements into your vow renewal ceremony in Spain that can unify your family with a sand ceremony, symbolise the retying of the knot with a handfasting or incorporate another ritual to perfectly reflect your personalities.
My mission: to reflect your personalities, your values and your beliefs by telling your story
My promise: to craft your perfect ceremony script until very word resonates with you and your rituals symbolise your heartfelt wishes for each other and the future.

So, we had a crazy idea to renew our vows after 30 years. Debbie, you became our best friend and also our celebrant. You were always there for us.
You found us the perfect place for the ceremony and the words you chose totally represented us.
The last few months and days you asked us different questions and today at the ceremony it all made sense.
You are a great celebrant.
Thank you so much for everything. Pascale and Wim, Belgium
Debbie is the best wedding officiant you can ask for, she is absolutely amazing and we love to recommend her to our couples.
She is prompt, responsive, extremely personal and professional. These are qualities I admire and respect when working with her.Highly recommended!
Granada Beach Vow Renewal
Being an attendant at Wim and Pascal’s renewal of vows was such a happy, intimate and inspiring day. It was the first celebrant-led ceremony I’d attended so I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, to set the scene, the chosen hillside location overlooking a sparkling Mediterranean Sea, was very serene and intimate. Wim and Pascal swapped their vows in Flemish and English as they looked into each other’s eyes as the sun rose over the hill. It was so romantic and pretty emotional at times; especially renewing their wedding vows and love for each other after 30 years of marriage.
Debbie was an amazing celebrant; ensuring the renewal of vows and readings were bespoke, intimate and very personal to Wim and Pascal. This continued through to the wedding breakfast, which she went out of her way to co-ordinate, so they enjoyed a Moroccan-themed Champagne breakfast on the beach with their guests in between photographs being taken. The photographer, Simon, followed Debbie’s lead and kept it personal and fun.
I was very honoured to attend such a wonderful, happy and romantic wedding celebration. I’ve been telling all my friends about it, and wouldn’t hesitate to do it myself one of these days!
