Funeral Celebration of Life Ceremony in Spain €400

Funerals in Spain happen quickly as the physical burial or cremation is usually processed within 48 hours of death. But you do have options when it comes to a memorial ceremony and you don’t have to rush.

Consider a truly personal humanist-style funeral.  Celebrate your loved one’s life when the family and friends can come together to remember them in the way they would have wanted.

I can help you create a respectful, personal send-off with a eulogy that celebrates your loved one’s achievements, who they were, what mattered to them, and all the wonderful ways they mattered to those who are remembering them.

A Celebration of Life ceremony can be religious, humanist-style non religious or mixed-faith; it can include whatever you wish at a place of your choosing; a true wake with a mix of happy tears and laughter as well as supporting each other through the sadness of bereavement

Funeral advice in Spain

How to have a good death

Death is inevitable and it is an important conversation to have.

We organise our funeral insurance, we write our wills and we can also prepare to have the best possible death here in Spain by writing a “living will” to record our wishes regarding advance life-care and organ donation.

A guide is available in English , the document itself is called the REGISTRO DE VOLUNTADES VITALES ANTICIPADAS (VVA) and must be completed in Spanish.

Your completed VVA is accessible from your medical records and you will need to nominate a representative to act on your behalf when the time comes.
